I am addicted to travel. I have been going on road trips and loved to fly since I was young. Starting in 2007 I began on more ambitious journeys to Asia, and then went on a 16 month around-the-world trip in 2009/10 - it was one of the most amazing, challenging, and spectacular journeys of my life. I love to meet the locals and see what it feels like to live in completely different cultures; I often rent apartments on AirBnB or VRBO. I even built a vacation rental site way back when, before I heard about AirBnB...
