Transformations

My tribute to the Island of Hawai'i. I filmed all of the shots on a Canon GL2, and time compressed or expanded most of them in After Effects, often shrinking 20 minutes of footage into 10 seconds of screen time. The score is from one of my favorite electronica artists, Amon Tobin. 2004.

Flaneur

A poetic and philosophical pondering on the influence of technology on the human experience. Conceived, filmed and edited by myself and Dallas Luther. We experimented with lots of frame-by-frame masking and coloring to create a stark, graphic feel. 2006.
